Crawford Vs Madrimov will be like Jacobs Vs Pirog

You have a good point - this will be one of the first Crawford has had against a decent non-shot/old opponent.

Spence, Brook, Khan, were all shot/drained. Spence performed worse than shot drained Brook and Shot Khan, which goes to show how badly drained Spence was when he fought Crawford. Crawford was arguably losing against Porter too, who had to rely on his dad throwing in the towel even though he wasn't hurt ("save the money fight with Spence").

Only thing with Madrimov is, he is a 10 fight novice, and he is not an East Asian/Eastern European monster like GGG or Pirog.

 

So since Porter wasn’t hurt and everybody else is shot if Bud beats the brakes off this amazing 10 win fighter you will give him his props?

 

he will surprise the world. he may or may not win, but from what i've seen of this guy, he's pretty good.

Madrimov ain’t comparable to GGG… if you mean he looks like an amateur trying to imitate GGG with half the skills and understanding, than I’d agree…

He gets set and telegraphs before he punches half the time, lunges in several feet at a time with jabs, gets off balance… some guys make this kind of stuff work for them at a high level - he doesn’t strike me as that kind of guy though…..

I expect Bud to piece him up…

I hope those of you who are confident this guy beats Bud have lots of money on him, because I imagine the odds will be good….

You are out of your mind comparing Madrimov to Pirog. Pirog's footwork and upper body movement were elite. Pirog is probably the most underrated fighter in the past 20 or so years.

From what I've seen of Madrimov, he gets off balance and he isn't exactly hard to find in the ring. That doesn't mean he can't beat Crawford, I think he could potentially knock him out. But I wouldn't compare him to Pirog or Golovkin.

Yeah, heartbreaking his career was plagued by injuries… he had so much ability and such a crowd pleasing yet diverse style.

 

They’re only broken after he breaks them and I see another broken one coming.

 

Crawford is far more skilled than Jacobs was and he`s a great switch-hitter, something the unproven Madrimov has never faced.

 

It`s more Crawford`s reach Madrimov will have to deal with.

 

Porter would have beaten Madrimov, he`s unrpoven at that level, he`s never been in with a fighter as good as Porter.
