I like Madrimov and I think he is the best guy at 154 but I don't see him beating Bud tommorow night. I anticipate a good, competitive fight but I think Bud will pull away in the mid to late rounds. He is just to versatile.

Lubin is absolutely not on any level better than Madrimov. I love Vergil, but he's unproven at the weight. Fundora and Tim are solid, but I'd give the edge to Madrimov against both of them.

Just make sure you don't dissappear after the fight.

crawford is beating him down. hes 2 levels below. i suppose anything can happen in a fight, but evidence points to him catching a hellacious stomping. hes an elite counter punchers ticket to a great highlight reel.

Thank you some sense, I just don’t understand how people don’t see Crawford for what he is.
He’s smart and he will spend the first few rounds figuring his opponent out, but then he will absolutely demoralise him.
But some how he still won’t get the respect he deserves, it’s nice to see someone at least going all in on Madrimov though, fair play for that, but in my opinion you are very wrong.
It’s just a shame how quickly the talents of Madrimov will be forgotten by those who are arguing his case.
    Let’s go Crawford

If Madrimov walked around at 160-164 two years ago, allegedly walks around at 175 now according to his trainer, the same trainer who said when they were training in the gym the other week that we will see Madrimov look a lot more muscular when he comes down in weight, and Madrimov looks noticeably smaller and more muscular in his actual fights than he did in the gym, then how much does Madrimov come in at on fight night because he would have to lose a significant amount of weight in order for him to look as muscular as he does on fight night?

If he's coming in at 165 Crawford will definitely be bigger and maybe significantly bigger

If he's coming in closer to 170 and if he is why did he look very noticeably heavier and less defined at 175 in the gym than he does on fight night?

And if he is coming in closer to 170 I suspect Crawford is too

Either way, unless there's something I don't know, I don't see how Crawford is facing someone bigger than him at all

Crawford posted a picture of himself weighing 177 six years ago, said he weighed 180 last year, was coming in as high as 153 down at 135 a decade ago, as high as 157 at 140 eight years ago, was easily coming in at bare minimum 162 at 147 because he looked very noticeably bigger from the 140 version, is obviously bigger now, and just said after the weigh in it wasn't easy for him to make 154

Does Madrimov look like a big 154 pounder or that much bigger in the ring in his last fight than he did at the weigh in today?

This stuff bugs me. Just announce the fight night weights for all fights. Size matters and if you're moving up in weight and facing bigger or much bigger fighters it's very different to facing ones your own size or who you're bigger than. If Madrimov was much heavier than Crawford it would factor in heavy to my prediction, especially given Madrimov is a big puncher for 154. I don't think that's the case at all but it would be nice to actually know these things for sure and it's easy as pie to do

If Crawford does lose, it'll be more to do with 154lbs being too much of a jump in weight more than anything else. Crawford might not have the pop to keep Madrimov honest, he might not be able to take Madrimov's power, it should be a good fight.

Crawford is going to have a hard time pinning Madrimov down in the first few rounds

He will be on the defensive and Madrimov will come out aggressive

Crawford will find his range but only in spurts because Madrimov is difficult to pin down due to his unusual footwork

    It will go points

Crawford will narrowly win because Turki wants to set up Canelo Vs Crawford later this year

Crawford will have an easier time with Canelo than he will Madrimov

Madrimov looks soft, very surprised by that.
Bodies don’t win fights mind you but he isn’t exactly a big guy.

They might weigh similar in ring but Crawford looks like the bigger man lol. I kind of wanted to see Crawford prove his p4p greatness against a big boy. This doesn’t prove much to me.

Tim Tszyu looks quite a bit bigger.

Imo size does matter when we look at p4p, beating bigger skilled guys counts for more.

I don’t have any arguments for people claiming Duran is better p4p than Hearns or even PAC better p4p than Floyd.

They may have lost h2h but faced considerable size differences. That has to count for something or p4p is bs

Bud is a master counter puncher and will set traps, he always looks to finish his opponents.
