Your right in that case Marquez shouldn't have even got his second & especially the third chance to begin with after he got whooped,

Be more thankful that Pacquiao never ducked & granted his opponents numerous amounts of rematches unlike some who refused to give him even one, when in reality he got robbed of a win their first meeting & almost again in the second definitive rematch beating Marquez.

Age my ass; most of those classic old fights are on YouTube. If you are a fan of the sport you do what I did; start consuming the media where available. It's not age, it's laziness.

Pacquiao destroyed JMM in the first round of the first fight. It could easily have been stopped and Pacquiao would have come away as a clearly better fighter.

The fight was not stopped though and besides that first round, JMM proved himself as the better fighter of the 2 (h2h).

Pacquiao is undoubtedly the greater fighter but h2h, JMM had his number.

That’s a part of it but youth comes into play with all sports. They are more fans of players on teams rather than the team itself. In boxing they are fans of the fighter and not exactly the sport. There’s a huge difference. Fighter fans will say anything to prop up their fighter, and have obvious double standards depending on the issue.
