How would this fight go ??

Now I think highly of Crawford. Very high

I think he would outbox porter and stop him late
In a one sided beatdown similar to how he did to horn. Now maybe I'm overating Crawford in my head being a huge fanboy of his but how would you see it ? Do you see it as one sided and dominant as me?

    Thoughts ?

He kept Horn @ bay but Porter is MUCH stronger & aggressive than Horn, not so sure he will keep him off, wont be easy but I guess crawford points/split...

Would be a good test to see how good Crawford really is.

I’d be a close fight but right now I’d have to give Porter the slight edge. Spence, Brook andThurman were,l able to keep him at bay or outfight him for stretches, but they’re natural/full grown welterweights. DSG was a natural 140 guy like Crawford and tellingly, he had less success against Porter than the natural welters did. Fights against Khan and Horn don't in my eyes equate to a clear victory against Porter

Natural 140 pounder? Crawford rehydrated 18 pounds at 140 and walks around as a cruiserweight...

The Porter of the Spence fight might beat him, but I don't see Porter coming up with that kind of effort again.

    Watch Gamboa Crawford,
Porter is much better than Gamboa and has an iron jaw, I take Porter by late stoppage.

Doesn’t mean anything. The guy chose to fight at 140 (if anything it tells me he was a weight bully. But l I already knew that). Not hating. It is what it is.
And no. Unless your talking about Duran or Ricky Hatton, who both would get morbidly obese between fights, there’s no way Bud walks around at 198. Please.
Fact is, Bud has been fighting smaller guys at a smaller weight, with a size advantage. He looked great versus Khan and Horn, but those guys are not top welterweights. Porter is.

So it would be a close fight and not as dominant as I think it would be

Crawford wins an extremely competitive decision then is criticized by everyone on here as being exposed.

It’s a fight that needs to be made preferably next for Crawford, it’s a true test to see where he’s really at.

I’d favour Crawford UD in a very competitive decision and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him dropped or badly rocked.

Crawford in a close tough fight. Porter, unless he gets caught cold and is either knocked out or forced to be cautious throughout the entire fight, is bound to give anyone he faces hell if not beat them.
