TC 10-2 type of decision, he won't fight Porter's fight and is too good technically.

It is a good fight to see the difference between Spence and Crawford since both are southpaw so stylistically we can see something. If Porter can take some time off to heal and to get in the shape he was for Spence, he can give us a good comparison.

One more thing. Usually we don't get one style which can show us comparisions too much, but these guys being southpaw means if Porter can fight Crawford,he could show how Crawford deals with pressure. And Crawford has been rocked at times. So you never know.

When the fab 4 fought each other, their styles were so different that how Hearns fought Duran or Duran fought Ray or Ray against Hagler didn't tell us too much. Their fights were all unique similar to how the great heavyweight era with Ali, Frazier, Norton and Foreman was all different. But Crawford and Spence would be interesting Another point- Crawford is 32 and Spence is 29. Crawford is the age Duran was when he fought Hearns in 1984. And Spence is the age Hearns was when he fought Roldan, and Tommy was considered a veteran who fought everyone in 10 years as a professional. So Crawford and Spence should get it on soon.

LOL you obviously don't understand that styles make fights. Gamboa was way faster and quicker than Porter and that is what caused Crawford issues. Once TC adjusted,, he beat the mafungo out of Gamboa.

As much as I like Crawford, the fact he is still so open to overhand rights, he has a serious amount of risk against the punchers in the Welterweight division.

Although he is great defensively and usually very illusive, he has a tendency to leave himself open to the big right hands.
I think that is going to be his downfall. Look at the shots he ate from that short reel of highlights against Diaz. Look at the number of big right hands he ate from the tiny Gamboa, especially when Gamboa threw in bunches. Porter will press the action and take away Crawfords jab.

He also eats a lot more when fighting Southpaw... Against the likes of Spence or Pacquaio, that will cause huge issues.

Top Rank should make Porter a decent offer I think he would take it as he has already fought Spence, Thurman and Garcia so not really many other big pay days left for him at FOX/PBC. I am sure Porter and Haymon wouldn't turn down a couple mill to fight Crawford.

And Gamboa was also way smaller and weaker than Porter with gas tank nowhere near that of Porters.
Porter also has better feet than Gamboa, his footwork is underrated. I don’t know it seems that Porter is always being doubted by everyone.

I have no doubt that Porter could liven the Crawford debate exactly how he has the Spence debate

Its "Mofongo" and its a Puerto Rican dish not Cuban. You may think its all the same but its like saying "Hopkins beat the tacos out of Trinidad" Or "Marquez knocked the Lo mein out of Manny" lol It makes no sense.

Just to chip in on this debate.

You mention styles make fights, which is absolutely correct. But, take into consideration that Porters workrate is higher than Gamboas. Porter has the ability to work in, which Gamboa doesn't. Gamboa was notorious for throwing as he came in with little respect for the shots coming back, even though his chin wasn't stable to withstand the counters. Porter can, as proved in the weekend.

Gamboa may be faster than Porter, but Porter is no slouch himself. Crawford still struggled with the offense of Gamboa, even when his chin was cracked. If Porter can use the workrate that he did against Spence and control the tempo coming forward, you can expect another tough fight for Crawford.

Porter is miles better than Horn. U got it all wrong if ur basing ur reason why Crawford beats Porter. Crawford never face anyone with that type of style Porter has, nor stamina, size and strength. Style makes fights.
