Now everybody thinks its easy to beat Provodnikov, I like Algieri and picked him to win, but the reason he won is because he was hauling ass like the roadrunner about 50mph backwards, and throwing about 150 punches per round and even then he only managed to eek out each round by a smidge. Ruslan is still a monster and Crawford doesn't hit hard enough to keep him off, and his chin doesn't seem to be the sturdiest and it will be checked repeatedly by Provo. Crawford doesn't throw enough and isn't as good at slipping punches as Bradley.
Tim was out on his feet in the first round of their match still slipping punches, he did it out of instinct, when Crawford does that I'll be impressed.
Crawford is not Floyd. Floyd has snap on his punches. Crawford is a side switching, volume punching, arm puncher with decent defense and what appears to be a good chin. Crawford COULD beat Provo, but he will take an ass whuppin of a life time to do it. And Provo is better at evading punches and countering than you're giving him credit for. Provo will get tagged often against Crawford, but he will land some hellacious counter punches that will make people think, "Damn, Crawford has one hell of a chin." ... or not. How many people have said that about Mayweather? The thing is, if Crawford had power, I would agree with you. I'm just not convinced he has power. With that said, Provo won't respect him and will make Crawford work his ass off every second of the fight.
