Most importantly Al Haymon ducked transparent negotiations. Crawford needs a slap though for thinking the deal he had proves he was after the bout, that deal was unfair to Spence. Neither guy is accepting a deal that could favour one or the other by more than $5m.
Usyk isn't that slick. You should watch more of his fights. I've watched pretty much all his bouts twice now...and will watch them all again for a 3rd time just before Fury takes him to the slaughterhouse.
I voted for Spence ducking Crawford but I don't believe championship level boxers duck anyone. Their confidence is too high for them to be worried about fighting another man. I believe it's the connections that duck because they want to coddle and protect their golden goose investment. Al Haymon is the man ducking, not Errol Spence.
Uhh, erm, Floyd was terrified of prime Pac. Fighters can absolutely be fearful of another fighter. I think Spence is terrified of Crawford.
Crawford clearly ducked the fight. He’s just a bad businessman. He wants to be Money May, but doesn’t want to be associated with business minded associates of Money May if that make sense.
I think the promoters screwed this up. As much as I’d like to blame Crawford, I don’t think either guy is straight up scared of one another.
Americans tend to have an aversion for fighting each other lately it's ok tho least we get Crawford v avanesyan & Spence v Stanionion
I’m gonna go with Bud Crawford and Al Haymon. Seems like both guys didn’t negotiate in good faith Al trying to obviously lowball and Bud because it feels that he’d been negotiating with BLK Prime the whole time. I believe if he had the green light Errol wouldn’t hesitate to sign. Reminds me of Mayweather vs Pacquiao. I always believed Floyd and Bob Arum didn’t want to make the fight until all other lucrative options was exhausted. Meaning fights with Marquez Mosley Cotto Toni etc..both guys were consistently doing around 1 million PPV buys fighting others so Arum and Floyd wanted to run those wells dry before exploring the possibility of doing business together. PAC like Errol would have fought whoever..
I probably don't know enough of the details to voice my opinion but just on the surface to me it seems Crawford tried to make the fight happen and team PBC didn't want it.
