Crawford vs Spence 2021

I agree. People are going to have to start voting with their wallets until boxing has the same exciting fights as MMA does. These young guys ducking each other and pretending like they are superstars is bull****. Boxing has 2 real superstars today, Anthony Joshua and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez the rest are filler fighters until the stars fight.

Boxing superstars are going the way like porn stars went. Remember when porn had stars you could name and everyone knew? It wasn't even taboo to know their names and they were so famous that uptight religious people knew who they were. Now you don't have any stars just "here today, gone tomorrow" **** puppets. That's where boxing is headed. No one is even gonna care after awhile.

 

Both of these guys are holding on to their huge egos and allowing their generational fight to pass the expiration date. I’m not gonna say one or the other when one guy is refusing to acknowledge that his resume lacks a top notch win and says he don’t need Errol Spence and the other guy is stalling the fight tryna age Bud out before taking the fight.. They let the lightweights take the buzz away from their division. Keith Thurman had a hand in it himself also..

This is why we should applaud Beterbiev and Gvozdyk, Teofimo and Loma, Estrada and Choc, Taylor and Ramirez, Jermell Charlo Inoue, Usyk etc.. Guys who recognize that there is another high level competitor in their division and actively pursue to settle the score in the ring and not through the media.

Well I mean Crawford has fought the very best in the world at LW, the very best in the world at LWW, I'd assume he also wants to fight the very best in the world at WW.

 

I dont see it happening. Too much ego. Both guys think they are the A side.

 

based on quality of opposition, spence is the A side.
but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that fights being made or not made come down to this...

I disagree, Crawford is the A-side based on being a 3 division champ and undisputed at 140.

And that's why the fight is not happening.

There's a lot of subjectivity.

It doesn't even matter, bottom line the fight is not happening because Crawford thinks he's the A side and Spence thinks he's the A side.
