I think a clear winner here will get to that spot, it's a foregone conclusion. Beating another primed top 5 p4p fighter will get you there.

    Has to be convincing though.

Yes the hype machine, magazines, pundits, you name it will label the winner as p4p 1

Casuals will lap it up, but Inoue is the best p4p and there's still a huge case for usyk as number 2. Though he rarely fights so I have no problem with the winner going ahead of him

But it's easy to try and ignore the little Asian dude, because he doesn't fight in the west

Opinions vary, many will probably put the winner as top P4P, but for me Inoue is the best in the sport right now and has been for a while

The p4p talk is rubbish anyhow. Same as in mma, fans get to caught up

Simply fighting better competition doesn't automatically make you better P4P. But granted the knock against both of them is that they haven't fought top competition. This test definitely gives them the ability to prove they are deserving.

So it's very possible that the winner of this will become P4P #1, but for those who say that the winner automatically becomes P4P #1 simply because they are fighting each other is not really what P4P is about. It's supposed to be about rating their capabilities and technical talent compared to other fighters. So when you're watching this matchup, don't just get carried away with the result, literally evaluate how each fighter performs and compare it to how other P4P fighters have performed in recent bouts.

p4p is the most important thing in boxing

And the winner of this fight will be crowned the p4p champion, and it should be the case

    #3 vs #4.

What more can you ask for? 2 primed fighters squaring off, 2 undefeated fighters for the undisputed title.

The winner here will have the best victory out of every p4p fighter atm. Can't get any better than #3 vs #4, right?

If a convincing win happens here, it's ball game. #1 p4p will be awarded.

You may be right that the winner becomes P4P #1, but I still disagree with the idea that one of them automatically becomes P4P #1 just by fighting each other. That's not really what P4P is about.

I did say whoever wins convincingly.

If a robbery or whatever happens, then I'll change the narrative.

The winner will only be named p4p #1 because they are American. Usyk is above both, so is Inoue.

    Well, that's your opinion.

I'll go with the pundits and aficionados.

Convincing winner here will be the #1 p4p fighter in the game, no matter how you slice and dice it.

Best victory out of ANY p4p fighter in the game today.

    #3 p4p vs #4 p4p

That's a matter of opinion. Inoue has a unique set of skills. Bud and Spence have a more well rounded skill set, but they aren't as strong or as devastating punchers as Inoue. So it's a matter of interpretation how we evaluate the sum of their talents and how that translates into a ranking.

Fair enough, but I think deep down the majority who knows the sport, knows deep down that Inoue is currently the best to do it

It's hard to imagine fighters in different weight classes, but I don't think Bud or Spence could beat him if they were the same size, especially not Spence

    Anyway, opinions vary
