I'd like Spence to win, but I like both a lot. One or a rematch would between the two would be amazing. The usual suspects are embarrassing themselves in this thread.
I've voted Crawford. But that's absolutely not a reflection on last night. Spence knocked out a guy I thought he'd lose to. He deserves a huge amount of credit for the victory. Yes he struggled at times, but this man beat Porter and Pacquiao, he's legit.
It will be a hell of a fight as they are both absolute dawgs. I think bud is more versatile so I would give a 5-10% advantage to bud. In a fight like this anything can happen. (Like the moment Ugas unleashed on Spence during the mouth piece incident / lapse in judgement, those kind of errors will bury him against a Crawford or possibly even a Thurman)
Crawford not a punch bag who will just stand infront of Spence lol Crawford all round elite fighter .. man can fight anywhere he chooses too.. that's the difference.. slow predictable Spence will get outboxed and get his a## beat by the superior boxer Crawford..
Close, but I'm leaning toward Spence. Crawford has come from behind to score stoppades in his last two, councidentally the best he's faced at WW, and since I don't think he'll stop Spence he'd better up his game for him.
Spence looking drained now at 147, he needs to move up to 154. But Crawford is moving up at 147 from lower weights so maybe the weight issue is a draw with no advantage to either guy, although it's harder to drain down than to move up. I'm going with home boy Spence. Wears down the smaller guy with body work and wins a UD, with or without Laurence Cole. But it would be easier with Cole helping Spence out.
This will be the most competitive Welterweight unification since SRL vs Thomas Hearns. I am making an early prediction now that Spence is going to stop Crawford. Derrick James is also a better trainer than Bomac.
