EJ is going to stop Bud. Bud is great but EJ will exploit his weaknesses. Bud has great athleticism and variety but his defence needs to be better against EJ. EJ has arguably the best jab in boxing today and is capable of brutalising every Welterweight. I actually think Bud’s mentality where he wants to have it out with you will lead to his downfall. Most competitive Welterweight unification since Sugar Ray Leonard vs Thomas Hearns. There are plenty of people in the game whose opinions I respect who believe Bud will but there are many other like me who feel Spence will win due to his better fundamentals. I see a lot stoppage. Either guy can win but EJ will win. Derrick James is a better trainer and coach than Bomac in my opinion. Anyway I think we are going to have fun with this one I really can’t wait. This is what boxing is all about.

You do know he does not have to fight Crawford the way he fought Ugas. He can box him from range and mid range with that excellent jab.

Also people forget that Spence has variety as well and his fundamentals are better. Yes Bud is more flashy but that does not mean better.

 

He will need to and that may not be enough. I am predicting now that people will be shocked that when they fight Spence is proven to be the better boxer of the two.

Don’t think. More flashy does not mean technically better or better ring IQ. I think Spence IQ is better.

 

You do know he can fight different styles don’t you and be dominant. He is no one trick pony Spence.

 

That’s my point that dog is going to hurt him and people forget that Spence has great fundamentals. Bud is more flashy but more flash does not mean better skills necessarily and Spence has variety. I can envisage Spence putting Bud in a hole stylistically and Bud having to gamble and get caught and hurt. Bud is going to need Mayweather level defence which he does not quite have. Yes Bud has great variety a phenomenal athlete but he needs to fight a highly disciplined fight to try and eke out a points victory but Bud can’t help himself he will need to go for it which lead to his getting clipped. EJ can brutalise any Welterweight including Bud.
