Giving Crawfish FOTY would be even more corrupt than giving Ward that decision over Kovalev.

I still favor Frampton. He beat a top undefeated fighter at 122 lbs and than beat another top undefeated fighter at 126 lbs who just so happened to be a top 20 P4P fighter in the sport at the time.

I can see a couple other people in contention for the award but not Crawford.

Frampton, Lomachenko, and Pacquiao have better claims.

Wins have historical value if they break records. That's what Lomachenko did. His performances for someone who had just 7th and 8th pro fights has been mind boggling. To add to that, yes, I prefer Loma's wins. It's not just about wins, but also HOW he performed, too. Frampton had a very, very razor close fight with LSC. Some say LSC won - I definitely disagree, but still.

LSC and Quigg > Bradley and Vargas?

Lundy, Postol, and Molina > Bradley and Vargas?

Frampton's wins are overrated, I'll say that much.

CST had it wide for Frampton over LSC I think he had it 12-0, if that counts for anything. I had it closer. But a win is still a win. Two '0's ...... That seals it in many people's eyes. Well see when the real results happen who gets it.

So was both Kovalev and Barrera - undefeated.
The funniest part of it all is that if you had to isolate any boxer's resume over 2016, Andre Ward would have had the 'greater' year in retrospect because he got the decision over Sergey Kovalev in a razor close fight (it doesn't matter that Sergey may have deserved it too, the fact is, Ward still deserved it as 114-113 was perfectly plausible), someone miles better than Santa Cruz.

Ward having an even fight with Kovalev historically means more than KO'ing Santa Cruz let alone edging him in a laughably close fight, don't be a dumbass by disagreeing.

What's greater, having an even fight and getting the decision over a prime Fighting Harada or edging Ricky Hatton by the narrowest of margins?
You running like Lara from the topic, trying to get me banned or something for saying I'm Gannicus?

So losing to other top (or at least decent) fighters makes you not a top (or at least decent/respectable for a champ's tune-up) fighter? Cool logic, bro.
