The fans want this fight next. Postol holds the WBC belt no reason for Crawford to fight another C level fighter that proves nothing

I am not saying that there isn't a sizable risk but I think Arum is more concerned with the risk than Crawford. Crawford moved up in weight to fight the heavy-handed Prescott on short notice. Nothing about Crawford hints that he is short on confidence.

Postol is more known den Lundy and Dolorme as of this moment I can assure you

Uh, false. Bud debuted on HBO three years ago, since which he popped the cherries of Klimov and, more importantly, the once highly touted (flirted with p4p lists) Gamboa and defeated about half a dozen other very solid B+/A- names in Burns, Jean, Lundy, Beltran and Dulorme.

Much deeper body of work than being a one hit wonder (even if Matthysse is a better individual scalp than any of his)

They're at very different points in their career in terms of visibility / marketability.

lol Okay. I don't know if Arum is ever planning to make that fight but you can blame Crawford for "ducking" Postol. The fact that HBO didn't even mention Postol's name during the telecast makes me think that they aren't that interested in the fight either.

Crawford is slightly more popular only boxing fans know who he is still.

But back to the topic why would you fight Lundy when Postol has the WBC belt ?

Postal looks like he's hiding some glass in that mandible. Dude is a poor man's 140lb Wladimir Klitschko. Typical European fighter with a straight up and down style who has NO inside game and is a brutal KO waiting to happen. He probably would have lost the Matthysee fight had it not been for all the holding and headbutts. He probably doesn't go 12 with Crawford...

Wouldn't Crawford become more marketable if he took Postols WBC belt ?

HBO and Top rank are smart they know Postol could derail there future cash cow in Crawford it's very simple to understand.

Postol is unknown. Why would it make Crawford more marketable? It's not like Postol is a big name. Crawford beating Postol would be a good name on his resume but does nothing for improving his marketability. I would argue that beating Broner would do more for that.

HBO also prob holds a grudge against Postol for beating Matthysse.
