A certain segment of boxing fans on Twitter were extremely vocal in calling Inoue a cheat by saying he stacked his gloves.

The same certain segment of boxing fans on Twitter said nothing when Crawford wrapped his hands the exact same way.

They didn't need to. Bud did everything allowed by the NAC.

Y'all see the last clip? Bud had a bandaid on his left arm? IV? I say yes. Not only did Bud drain Spence, but he waited until the accident to take the fight, stacked his gloves and used an IV. Oh, and if you look close, there is a trash can with an notice
I thought that the tape could not be applied to the front of the knuckle, the part of the fist that makes contact with the opponent. Reasoning is the tape will allow the gauze to slide around and can create less padding. Both Inoue and Crawford were taping on the top of the hand, which is legal up to an inch of the first knuckles. Am I wrong?

Couldn’t there be gauze under the tape that we just can’t see there? We are only seeing a brief moment towards the end of the taping process in that video.

i saw it live and laughed. pull it up. Clear stacking. This is exactly the way fultons camp claimed monster was wrapping. Monster literally wrapped 1 layer of gauze 1 layer of tape because of it. Not sure the rules in japan but monster and team wanted no excuses. Same exact way canelo wrapped his hands for ggg and abel sanchez complained he was stacking.

Stitch Duran has no reason to lie. Everyone else you named does. They are excuse makers.

I'm sure he had plenty of scraps growing up. It's fairly normal for his generation.
