Spence hasn't fought since Avanesyan lost to Ennis Porter retired Brook & Khan did nothing but fight each other Kavaliasukas lost to Ortiz Horn lost to Zerafa Indongo went 2-6 following Crawford Postol went 4-4 Burns lost 2 of his next 3 Gamboa lost to Castellanos & went on a gift run.. What's so great? None of these fighters went on to do anything significant.. let's just hope Canelo beats Benavidez because that resume is ageing like milk
Usyk is the real P4P #1. Crawford has made a career out of choosing mediocre (Burns), faded (Porter, Canelo) or damaged (Spence) opponents. WHY DID HE AVOID SPENCE BEFORE THE ACCIDENT? Why won't he fight Ennis at 154 or 160?
Spence priced himself out just like Pacquiao. Now we know why. Ennis has no belts at 154, what would even be the point in fighting Ennis. Nonsensical questions
I don't think his resume is that great. But his performances are very good and he convincingly wins almost every time.
TC was frozen out, he didn't avoid Spence. Also, who in Usyk's resume is so great? Fury's resume is weak AF. No one here really thinks AJ was ever any good. Love me some Usyk, but being a top a weak HW division doesn't hold the glamor it used to when the HW division was the tops
An undefeated fighter moved way up in weight class to fight one of the most elite faces of boxing and instead of appreciating Crawfords courage and accomplishment boxing fans decide to sit on a forum picking apart resumes and doing everything they can to discredit what would and SHOULD be a monumental achievement for any fighter smh . . . . This is why boxing can only truly be enjoyed if you tune out all of its stupid "fans"
The heavyweight division hasn't been weak, it just seems that way when one fighter dominates all the top boxers. It will be weak in the near future, since several heavyweights are near retirement, unless some of the talented young East Europeans and Central Asians (including Russians) are not frozen out and allowed to compete professionally.
The Spence narrative has to be the most annoying one of this site. He literally came off of putting a whooping on Ugas, nobody was saying anything like this during the build up
He has captured Undisputed Titles in 3 Different Weight Classes. That alone is all he needs on his Resume. Beating Canelo is the Ultimate Signature Victory. Dethroning the Face of Boxing in Canelo's weight class. Why whenever we talk about resume is just all just about Names. If it's about quality opponents, Bud has fought many of them. But he needed Canelo to take him to the top.
Sorry he's not the ring espn and other publications have moved Crawford to #1 your opinion is irrelevant.
