What do y'all think should happen to Joey Abell and Butlers cornerman? Suspension? Worse? I was there and didn't hear the bell and my buddy next to me did. Abell claims he didnt hear it either but he does try to touch gloves before knocking Butler out which makes me think he really did hear it but decided to take the refs instructions to fight on. Either way the bell man did a **** job, Butler should have protected himself better and Abell should have held off on punch 2 and 3 after the bell. Gotta love boxing!

Worst cameraman EVER! Seriously, couldn't see WTF was going on there...

EDIT: Nevermind, saw the ending when it was shown on the news... Messed up. Why would anyone hit that old man even if he was pushing and shoving, I don't understand...

Skip to the end there is a local news piece on it with the video from the arena feed.

I don't think Abell did anything wrong there...
    - 8 count
    - referee brings them together and signals them to fight
    - Abell raises right hand... to my eyes, it's for defense or a jab
    - Butler looks past hand to corner, but doesn't move; he still looks hurt
    - Abell hits Butler
    - Butler looks at ref
    - Abell looks at ref, but sees no signal from ref to stop
    - Abell finishes Butler
    - Butler's cornerman attacks referee
    - Abell tries to pull cornerman off, then tries to pull him down to canvas
