I think that the OP is pointing out that Brook would give Cotto / Canelo / Mayweather goods fights but GGG should obliterate him.

The obvious next question is: why do some people argue that Cotto / Canelo / Mayweather on GGG's resume would significantly improve it, if it's such a mismatch?

It's pretty telling when the only guy that people agree would give Golovkin a hell of a fight is a very skilled guy that went two divisions up from 160 :deal

I think andre dirrell would give ggg a tough fight...but we all know ggg doesn't want any of that

 

the same dirrell that was 1-1 vs ggg in the ams....the same dirrell that whooped carl froch(u know the guy ggg tried to fight when he was about to retire) in his own backyard....

ggg wouldn't even dial out to dirrell....that's the kind of guy ggg avoids....guy was on the phone with hearn for weeks and never even asked about degale...LOL

dirrell is an accomplished fighter...people have respect for him and his skills...hes not the same fighter he was years ago.....but why doesn't ggg call a guy like or try to fight him instead of dominic wade? let me answer that...he thinks dirrell poses to much of a threat to his 0...that's reality

thurman didn't ''woop porter bad'', it was a razor close fight and the scorecards reflect that, 115-113, 115-113, 115-113 is not a wooping by any stretch of the imagination. brook-porter scorecards, 114-114, 117-111, 116-112, one judge inexplicably scored it a draw but the other scores were an accurate reflection. so to say that ''brook barely got past porter'', well the facts don't support that view. i don't agree that prime pac would stop brook either, brook is too big and strong to get stopped by such a little guy.

at least Thurman went to war and gave the fans a good show.....brook made it boring and hugged....when other fighters hug its frowned upon...im guessing now that brook is a ggg opponent his hugfest against porter was a masterclass display of hugging skill
