First employ the Froch body slam tactic, followed by the Judah low blow tactic, and finish that up with a few Hopkins tactical headbutts. This will cause Roger to storm the ring which will cause a DQ and the fighter has successful swam without getting wet.
Floyd has been a slow starter at Welter. Now you add ring rust to that equation and aging. Ortiz has to lay it on the line the first 1/3 of the fight and step on the gas right away. Prepare to use size and youth to avoid his holding if hurt. Pound it in at the fighters meeting as well with the ref. One moment of seperation could be critical. Ortiz needs to throw punches from all angles working hooks and southpaw angles to wrap around the shell. Floyd is vulnerable to feints to the body and rapid lefts and right hooks upstairs should follow all baits of going to Floyds mid section. Ortiz needs to understand stopping Floyd early is the only way and there has never been a more likely time to do this then after he has been out of the ring and at age 34 at his most vulnerable weight. Train Ortiz to have no respect for Floyd prepare for balls to the wall pressure and treating it as a fight vs an unproven WW who is past his prime to give Victor a pyschological edge and confidence. If this strategy of early assination almost a shock attack is employed ortiz will have a chance to be the first to stop Floyd.
i think a joe frazzier bob abd wieve rype with hooks to body and head. WOuld need to be big and strong enough so the shots don't phase him. . also a southpaw. That or Thomas hearns strategy in 2nd leonard fight. Out box him using superior range and height.
I always maintain that Fraud fights dirty. He is really a ducker in a literal sense. It is amazing if someone could make a GIF of his ducking in a single fight and you could probably make more than 20 per fight. Plus, he tends to use his elbows a lot, especially the elbows to the neck on clinches. A fighter who is bigger and fights dirtier would have more success. If he ducks below the waist, shove an elbow to his flank because he tends to use the ducking to move his body closer, or punch behind the head or back because it is not illegal if a fighter ducks. Hitting him in the head is not a good plan because he bends or contorts himself in backward position then use it as a spring to throw a counter right. So, once he bends backward, smother him immediately with a clinch or better, push his body backwards. Throw as much elbow to the chin, neck during clinches and don't mind the referee because most of the time, the ref would either be on Gayweather payroll like in the Hatton fight. If
Makes me laugh how people only just realise floyd fights dirty. I mean his resume isn't truly great but it's pretty damn good and he's fought a range of styles. Don't go unbeaten against that range without knowing all the tricks.
