Bobby Halpern, a clubbing heavy who did 18 years in stir, is one guy you'd want at your back in the street.

He was shot, knifed, beat-on by screws, and was one of the most feared street thugs in the Bronx as a member of the Iron Dukes gang.

    Liston
    Tyson
    Foreman
    Lyle
    Mayorga
    Hagler

And some hard-hitting latino mother****ers, don't know enough of them.

You published that book yet man?
    I loved your stories.
I'd send you anything up to 100$ for it, no joke.

Ali? I doubt he'd be very good on the streets.

    Possible qualifications for the gang:

You might think that a champion boxer who was also a world class wrestler would be the ultimate street fighter. In that case Jim Jeffries is the man and you might also want to look up Paul Berlenbach and Primo Carnera.

A boxer who was also proficient in another martial art could be a good adition. Vitally Klitschko should be almost unbeatable in a no holds barred fight.

A bare knuckle champion like Tom Cribb or Henry Pearce might be the ideal candidat.

A fighter who got his grounding in the battle royales might make a formidable edition. Think Jack Johnson and Elmer Ray.

It might simply be best to pick a boxer who was a street fighter in which case Jack Dempsey, Harry Greb, Rocky Marciano, Stan Ketchel.

It might be inexcusable that you left Walker off this list.

Robbi! Explain Greb ahead of Walker when Walker kicked Greb's ass in a streetfight!
