He`s not that powerful, his weight adds power to his clumsy punching style, he`s wear down sort of puncher.

He was orthodox, a rear hand jab is very rare.

 

I would say Bud Crawford is a greatest hits collection of physical tools. If he could have just borrowed some ambition (some more chin wouldn't hurt either) he'd be a legend.

As is, he's only just cracked #1 in a historically weak WW division and that's because Errol Spence threw his health away.

 

Crawford has limited ability. He has tools and is complete but isn't great at anything. Being good at something and being great at something are two different things.

 

Crawford is a great counter-puncher, and a great finisher.

 

His counters are great, that counter right hook is fast as hell and he throws more of them than anyone else.
