People pay to watch You Tube creations fight so nothing is off the table nowadays. The majority of people that go and see the big fights are casuals imo, strutting around in their best suits with their overmade up girl friends wobbling on stilettos trying to negotiate the steps to their seats ,guys sniffing **** up their noses in the toilets their seats empty until the main event begins then its phones in hands recording it ,as if it doesn't really happen unless they do .Live boxing is just an occasion for casuals now. Most of them couldn't name 3 fighters on the bill and couldn't care less about the supporting bouts and promoters are well aware of this and spend their $£$£ on fireworks and lighting instead of on evenly matched preliminary fights.
Live boxing has changed out of all recognition since I first began attending shows. The depth of knowledge among the casual punters is abysmal and their manners match that, they think nothing of standing up in front of you blocking your view and are happy to pay exorbitant prices for bog standard lager in a plastic cup just so they can show their mates the image on their mobile phones the next day.
