    I often feel that fantasy head-to-head matchups are dismissed too easily--e.g. "He beat better opposition", or "He hits harder, and his opponent has a weak chin".

    Go much further. Pick any two fighters in history and create the most detailed stylistic breakdown you have ever done. Then pick the winner.
