yeah was struggling for counterpunchers, suppose Afolabi could come under the category aswell, but really need to see more of him. saw enough defensively against enzo to get my nod in that department. him and napa have similar defensive styles, but ola has done it against a better standard of fighter.
It would have been much easier. Jab - Bruno Hook - Benn Uppercut - Lewis Chin - Eubank Smarts - Watson Reflexes - Hamed Stamina - Calzaghe Footwork - Graham Bodyshots - Hatton and so on......
Ah well, the rest of my list is pretty good (you've only done a handful)- noticed you edited that out though, fanny:good.
yeh its good i just wanted to pick up on that Froch uppercut Booth is probably Britains best ring general IMO
Nobody gets hit by Froch's uppercut unless they are on their last legs. You can see that a mile away, its coming from a different post code. He couldn't even hit the journalist in sparring with that monstrosity :rofl Ola is a good choice for defence indeed. I thought Napa was the only real contender for that, forgot completely about Ola. I still slightly prefer Napa's, Ola seemed to take a lot of half-shots. If Napa focuses entirely on defence he's so compact its near impossible to hit him in his shell. He only gets hit because he's a midget and he has to reach for his opponents.
Jab - Lynes Cross - Ricky Burns Hook - Lindsay Uppercut - Witter Bodypunching - Moore Counterpunching - Booth Defence - Napa Footwork - Herbie Hide although he never fights a decent fighter Speed - Khan Reflexes - McCloskey Stamina/work-rate - Rogan Power - Haye Chin - Froch Ring IQ - Limond? Heart - Danny Williams
Frankie Gavin picks his shots really well, not sure where to put him though. I'm still not sold on Murray at all - he is basically a C-level version of Ricky Hatton, inferior in all departments pretty much. All his best wins are over guys that have already been thrashed by either Khan or Thaxton - in the case of Lawton, both.
Jab - Junior Witter Cross - Kell Brook Hook - Martin Lindsay Uppercut - Jamie Moore Bodypunching - Ricky Hatton Counterpunching - Ola Afolabi Defence - Ian Napa Footwork - Anthony Small Speed - Amir Khan Reflexes - Paul McCloskey Stamina/work-rate - Rendall Munroe Power - David Haye Chin - Carl Froch Ring IQ - Jason Booth Heart - Martin Rogan
I think Darni will argue that Khan has become Antonio Margarito's equal on the basis of him not taking a **** before the weigh in.
