There might be a thread similar to this and if so sorry to steal an idea but thought i chuck this thread up to get people thinking.

If you were given chance to create a boxset that you can sell in shops or leave your children, grandchildren etc what fighters and fights would you put on it.

-You have 2-3 fighters to choose from and have 3 of there fights to choose from each.

-It can be your favorite boxers right now or a mix of fighters still active and fighters of other era's. Could be fighter's from your country.

    -Would you have a theme...nationality...style...era???

-What 2-3 fighter's will you pick?

-What Fight's Would you have on boxset? (fighter's 3 fights each)

-It doesn't have to be the best fights you ever saw of them. It doesn't have to be there greatest wars...it could be there finest displays of there skills or power.

:good I'm off to have lil think about my three fighters and there fights.

For them do they all have to be of the same fighter, cant think of 3?

Alexis Arguello vs Aaron Pryor I

Well I choose Arguello because, surprisingly, I'm an Arguello fan. And these to me are his best fights. Not his best performance but his best fights that emphasise why I am a fan of his.

My other two picks would probably be.

Jung Koo Chang vs Alfonso Lopez
Jung Koo Chang vs Hilario Zapata I
Jung Koo Chang vs Sot Chidalada I

    Pernell Whittaker vs Greg Haugen
    Pernell Whittaker vs Azumah Nelson
Pernell Whittaker vs Julio Cesear Chavez

I thought quite hard about this, and I choose these two as they are two fighters I deem near unbeatable. Chang narrowly beat Duran to the spot as I think Chang is more obscure and a better pick. And these are there best performances I have seen.

Another good thread, i'll have to have a proper think about it but i could see myself going for a sort of 'showman' theme, the entertainers.

Naz would be on without a doubt. Picking the 3 fights would be a nightmare tho! Think i'd go with Steve Robinson (winning the title), and Kevin Kelley (first fight in the states and probably his most exciting fight) for definite. The final one i'd either go for Daniel Alicea (bit short but first time he was down in his career), Tom Johnson or one purely for the entrances. The Motown for Cesar Soto one in Detroit or the McCullough 'Thriller' entrance at Halloween, although these 2 weren't the greatest of spectacles.

Eubank would also be on it, another great showman with the 'Simply the Best' entrance and jumping over the top rope. First fight with Benn, possibly the 2nd as well just for the hype it generated. Not sure on the 3rd, possibly Watson but not sure if i'd want such a tragedy on the boxset.

3rd fighter i'll get back to you.....

    Duran-de Jesus III

    Hearns-Leonard I
    Hearns-Hagler
    Hearns-Duran

    Hagler-Duran

I think those fights knit together quite well as a 9 fight set.
