I surprised myself by picking De La Hoya, hardly any of his fights lived up to the hype, but the Vargas fight is one of my favourites..... Lujan was a decent win for you though, I'd have it higher on your list than most, because it was very conclusive :good
De La Hoya Mosley 1 De La Hoya Vargas De La Hoya JCS 2 Hatton Tzyu Hatton Maussa Hatton Mayweather Barrera Morales 1,2 & 3
You must be shitting me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mosley 1 Trinidad Quartey Whittaker Chavez 2 Mayorga Vargas De La Hoya is the ****ing king of excitement !!!!!
The Trinidad fight wasn't exciting, it was a one-sided boxing lesson before DLH started running.... Mosley I, Quartey and Vargas were all great fights, hence why I selected them. Whitaker wasn't a good fight, Chavez 2 was a massacre, Mayorga was decent, but he'd already been raped a few times and was only a body for DLH to warm up on.
Nigel Benn McClellan Eubank 1 Eubank 2 (I'd also get a load of stuff archived from the build-up, to show what a big event it was) Erik Morales Barrera 1 Pacquiao 1 Zaragoza Roberto Duran Leonard 1 Barkley Moore
Amazing set Chang is pretty sloppy in the first Ohashi fight IMO, and the second fight is 10x better than the first one. Yeh, but Bennys way past it I liked the Bika fight, a right rough and ready fiight
My Tv wouldn't make it to far through that boxset . Something would go through it..**** me some stinkers there...had tears in my eyes during the Broadhurst fight it was that bad.
I got it right though Jamie :yep:good Kevin Kelley is worthy of a set - been in so many great fights.
The Kings of Excitement Matthew Saad Muhammad: Marvin Johnson 2, Yaqui Lopez 2, John Conteh 1 Evander Holyfield: Dwight Qawi 1, Bert Cooper, Riddick Bowe 1 Thomas Hearns: Ray Leonard 1, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler Oscar De La Hoya eat your heart out :deal
Matthew Saad Muhammed could make a boxset all on his own. Some nice boxsets you guys have thought of.
Here's one: 'The Heavyweight Bangers' Joe Louis: Max Baer, Max Schmeling 2, Jim Braddock Mike Tyson: Trevor Berbick, Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks George Foreman: Joe Frazier 1, Ron Lyle, Michael Moorer just for the mates who think any fight that doesn't end in a knockout is '****'.
