He came over to the lions den in many respects, didnt have to travel as the champion but finally to the much awaited step outside, against Froch who hasnt fought in his home nation Since Pascal.

He was well beaten by the better boxer but I thought he showed class in clapping him at the end and carried himself well all week.

    Props.

He takes losing very well, I was surprised. Still got his ass nailed to a cross though

    This:good

And just like Lewis, Robinson, Wladimir, Tyson and all the other great champions of this storied sport, Bute took his KO loss with dignity and if history tells us anything, he'll be back and better than ever.:deal

exactly, I read your comment about Bute looking "frozen" tonight and I thought this was 100% correct, he was not there mentally and this is something he'll have to work on
I also agree when you said he waited too long and did not look for more competitive exposure sooner by traveling
I think this fight will be very useful for Bute in the future IF the can extract what he needs from it to be stronger and better, especially from a mental point of view, and make a few technical adjustments as well
to that extend, he should learn from Wlad, look at how he always managed to bounce back after his defeats!
