I can't believe people are surprised that Abraham and Kessler are part of this tournament. Fighters are scared of noone. Kessler has a new promoter and Abraham has been chasing the biggest challenges since forever. Even Jermain Taylor who got KTFO was not scared to get in on this tourney although Froch is in it.

Abraham got the money offer he was seeking. It is really as simple as that. We see the money offered by HBO for Sturm/Pavlik. Good for Abraham. Saurland got him a couple of big fights guaranteed. He took it. Not much more to the story is there? Abraham was not going to get the same purse fighting Pavlik. At least no time soon.

 

What's the format of this tournament? Round robin or knock out system?

 

Lmfao @ Many here say Kessler won't fight the best way after he lost to Calzaghe. This proof that promoters are the ones that is messing up their fighters careers like Kessler last promoter until he signed a new one that got him into this tournament.

 

My first guess is either Kessler or Froch, and of those two I would take Kessler. However, I haven't seen Ward or Dirrell fight so I can't write them off.

 

Yep, now that Kessler has a new promoter all the sudden he's in a great tournament. Go figure. :deal

 

This tournament is a dream come true for me, so many good fights to come. Who would have believed the SMW division will be the hottest division by far?, it's just PACKED with fighters, even the gatekeepers in the division are popular names.
