And this is why I never take people seriously when they jump up and down screaming about how Canelo can't beat Charlo, Andrade, or Benavidez and he knows it. What exactly have you seen from any of these fighters that gives you this kind of belief in their abilities? A superior resume? An untouchable defense? Blinding speed? Unmatchable footwork against elite opponents?

For most Canelo haters, Spence is the right color so he's not a cherry-pick.

If only they kept the same energy when they see Charlo fighting Maciej Sulecki. Now there's a Euro bum

They made a mistake with Bivol which those of us astute enough to know pointed out. I am a Canelo guy but I think he can have interesting fights with these guys. Not interested in him fighting Light heavyweights who would beat him.

Bivol was the harder fight than all of those guys and you know it deep down inside Olu.

Stop trying to give Canelo undue credit ffs. His resume at 168 is pure cardstacking and cherrypicking at its finest see below:
There is more to it than saying BJS - undefeated champion.. As I've explained in detail above.

The guy is a clear as day extremely careful cherrypicker. It's only not obvious to dumb, blind boxing fans and Canelo rimmers.

His run at 168 is cherrypickedd in the context I've outlined clearly. He fights Yildirim and Fielding. He chose to fight a 35/36 yo aged Golovkin. Robbing him the second time (if you are fanboy great, but you have to at least respect that it was very controversial) then aging him out another 3 or 4 years. He fought a drained Jacobs and had a spar with Kovalev.

He is a CLEAR cherrypicker stop acting as if he fights everyone when there's more to it than a name on the resume.

Who should Canelo have fought instead of GGG/Jacobs/Kovalelv in 2017-2019? Those were the best fighters of the era. Please tell me what opponent Canelo should have fought instead?

This is really not the point. You don't understand that Canelo's whole gig is timing who he fights, and stacking deck..

A more relevant question is, debate my points/context about his fights at 168lbs? How are these not blatant cherrypicks? Being a champion does not mean you can't be cherrypicked

Usyk, Fury, Wilder or Joshua. Then he would get my respect

That is not actually my point. Bivol was a real tough fight. I pointed it out beforehand as a grave mistake. In fact a rematch would be stupid as Bivol could stop him. Perhaps I am not being clear but the matches I brought are the ones people really want to see him in.

Bro the video you posted was talking about a cherrypick gone wrong. You're discrediting Nelo here which is not fair to him when he went up and dared to be great. Yeah I'd rather see the Benavidez fight than Bivol but Bivol is probably the harder fight.

Bro the way they were speaking about Bivol beforehand pencilling in Lil g for September as if it was a formality to get past Bivol is why it is considered a cherrypick gone wrong. There were others like me saying this is a big mistake and your toughest fighting since Floyd. You can give him credit for fighting Bivol but the thinking behind it was not great rather flawed. They thought Bivol was flawed. I am a Canelo fan but I try to provide perspective and proper context.

If Canelo wanted the toughest fight next it would be Bivol rematch or Benaividez.
