Which is why I was referring to the Clottey of then (when he fought Pacquiao) - which was only eight or so months after he had fought Cotto.

Manny’s situation is unusual to most others because he’s a fighter that actually prefers to fight at a higher weight. Reason being, it allows him to operate in a weight class where he is 100% worry-free from having to submit to a weight limit. This allows him to train to fight, as oppose to train to make weight. And when he trains to fight, he naturally comes easily under that weight limit without having to worry about it. This doesn’t automatically make him a fully fledged welterweight.

For evidence, just take a look at his fight with Margarito at 150 pounds. On fight night, when guys normally rehydrate 7-12 pounds above their weight class, Manny was two pounds under the contracted 150! His career-high fight night weight is a measly 148 pounds - one pound over the welterweight limit. Does that sound like a fully fledged welterweight to you? Amir Khan, Marcos Maidana, Devon Alexander (all light welterweights) weigh the same as Manny on fight night. Heck, lightweights such as Brandon Rios and Michael Katsidis even weigh more than Manny. Are they fully fledged welterweights too?

So when guys like JMM and Bradley are asked to come up to welterweight to fight him, they aren’t actually being forced to come up. There’s no obligation or need for them to put weight on to match him in size and weight, because they match him already. JMM’s fight night weight against Katsidis was 145 - three pounds below Manny’s career-high fight night weight. That’s practically the same difference when they met back 2008. We weren’t complaining about size and weight back then, so why are we complaining about it now?

Sorry if I'm coming across as a dick, but do you understand I'm coming from?

He’s under scrutiny from the public in general. It doesn’t have to be the Mayweathers or an athletic commission. News reporters, former sparring partners, former gym buddies, former trainers, average Joe who uses the wildcard gym, and so on. ****, even that tramp that cleans Roach’s floors. All of these people would have a chance of finding something out. Even that miserable ****, Teddy Atlas, claimed to have recieved an incriminating email from the Pacquiao camp. And just a couple of months ago, a fake sparring partner launched rumours of helping Pacquiao inject himself in the ass. This false rumour was then being further distributed by those in the boxing industry - fighters, reporters, etc. All this heat from just a ****ing rumour with no basis or evidence what so ever. Imagine what it would be like if he really was juicing? It would be just way too risky and stupid for him to continue doing it when the heat is on him and the potential of whistleblowing is extremely high.

This argument that ‘loads of people are doing’, which you claimed earlier, is maybe accurate amongst those low-key fighters in the sport that are more likely to skip attention and not be caught. But the notion that everyone is doing it – including the high-profiled guys – is over-exaggerated and fuelled by those with an agenda. Mainly those who stand to make a lot of money from the random testing business.

And it provides a mental edge to Floyd because he gets to face a distracted Pacquiao in the ring. Everyone, since the first Morales fight, knows Pacquiao has a phobia of giving blood unexpectedly so close to a fight. That’s the only reason he’s doing this. Not because he wants to clean up the sport (lol). It’s mental warfare, coupled with a pinch of jealousy for someone that’s making a better name for himself.

he was 22 years old for ****s sake. he took a mad beating and gave back just as good but he wasnt ready for a fight like that. maidana is one of the biggest punchers in the world p4p. he even said after the fight, openly admited, that he is too young to be getting beaten like that. he accepted his defeat and went on to beat SIX more opponents in the next one and a half years or so. hes classy and respectful and he has earned a shot at some big money.

Floyd fights an older fighter and he is cherypicking..

Floyd fights a younger fighter and he isn’t good enough

    :good Exactly:yep

Least we forget that Manny is now a congressman & that brings with it plenty of enemies who'll stoop to any method to discredit Pacquiao in the eyes of the people that elected him.

Mayweathers should realise that they are well down the food chain in social standing & will soon be an irrelevance in no more than 5 years time whilst Pacquiao has aims for even higher office if he can survive the shark infested waters of politics.

There's absolutly no way that some one of the stature of pacquiao would leave himself open to be comprimised in such a stupid manner as too be using peds. It's beyond ridiculas & as you said it's fueled by an agenda of envy, resentment & pure malice & cowardice. There's no way he's going to bow down to a little **** like Mayweather & thats what the mayweathers are hoping for that he won't so that they can continue cheating the true boxing public of the fights that warrant his involvement.

But that is'nt the agenda of the mayweather clan as after all this is a bizzness & if he can keep fighting the likes of Ortiz/Khan/Bradley or judah again & get $20/$30 Million a pop then thats suits them fine instead of risking a minimum potential less risky $150 Million for a very risky $50Million by facing off with Pacquiao.
