why is everyone blowing a guy who just got his ass whipped?

You guys hopped Oscar would lose or show serious *****s in his armor so now you pat the loser on the back.

Oscar won again that wuss mayweather and if he uses his jab next time, he should win easy.

I knew it wouldn't take long for the ESB tradition of an ******* showing up, for the sake of being an ass hole in a "credit" thread. FFS, Forbes was to be Cannon Fodder, but he fought the best he could, way out of his league.

The size difference was ridiculous. That alone should garner Forbes some credit. He was to be nothing more than a sacrificial lamb but he stuck in there, showed some grit, and even landed some good shots. DLH got the rounds in and Forbes's stock rose (not to mention his bank account). Everybody wins.

    Props to Forbes.

Like others have said, he busted Oscar's face up pretty well. Much worse than Floyd did.

Just that bad now? That wast the best I've seen Oscar look in years. He was moving, up bouncing on his toes and firing that jab like he was 5 years younger, also his handspeed is still sick.

Yep, all of that. AND he did not at all fade going down the stretch. You could even hear in Forbes' corner Jeff Mayweather telling him it was gonna happen, like every body banks on it now a days. But credit to Oscar too.

Steve Forbes is an awesome boxer, but i think he is just too small to fight on the welter division, only 5′ 7½″. He should try among the lightweights.

yep. i give good props to forbes for what he showed in that fight even in a losing effort. he was just simply out-sized by dlh but he showed good handspeed and movement, good defense and very good combo punching. that's why i give him a good chance to beat the likes of hatton and witter @140.
