If you scored it for Jacobs how could you not say he was exposed? This was his first step up against a semi-elite opponent that's not a WW, and he looked like ass. Good on you for keeping it real though. I don't think I can accuse you of being biased for a long time now lol.

 

What if he dominates BJS, Canelo and owns Jacobs in a rematch? Like I said... He didn't look great tonight and I had him losing by a round, but that's here and now. In this crazy sport you can't judge and elite fighter on one fight. Could very well be that he was exposed, but it could have also been an off night.

 

Saunders is nothing special it doesn't really say that much. As for Canelo, if Canelo gets acclimated to the weight, and shows the same ability he definitely gets a lot of credit. When I say expose, I'm not saying he's not elite.

 

Saunders has talent... But he's lazy, inconsistent and often fights to the level of his opponent, also isn't a very hard hitter. Those things play right into GGG hands.

I don't think Canelo is the real deal at MW... If Chavez Jr. isn't too train and shows the kind of form he did against Lee, Zbik, Rubio or even Martinez, he might have the beating of Canelo. That's easier said than done though.

Expose? That's what we saw in Granat/Dimitrenko earlier, sometimes world class fighters have off nights against other world class opponents. Remains to be seen if that was the case here though.

To me exposing means revealing the truth. And the truth is GGG has been exposed as far as the hype he got. Before this fight with Jacobs you couldn't really say he was exposed. As bad as Brook made him look, the argument that he took shots so he could land his own was completely valid.

 

I think Jacobs did better than I expected. Props to him.
He survived 12 rounds with only 1 knock down against GGG, that's an achievement.

 

I don't think the few trolls and delusional fanboys on here are representative of the hype. The trolls who spam polls, say he would KO Kovalev, Ward or Heavyweights and all other sorts of silliness to me aren't representative of the norm. I know that's what's caused some of the hate towards him on here, but there's definitely plenty of irrational hate in his direction as well.

 

I'm not talking about that absurd hype he got. I'm more talking about how he'd beat Hagler, Jones, Hopkins etc.

 

That kind of talk comes from mostly from trolls and the more extreme racially biased posters. Not exactly of the norm. Plenty GGG fans such as myself, CST and The Anatolian never post crap like that.
