I gotta give full credit to Roger and Senior- they predicted that Shane would be jittery as hell in this fight early- and he was - all thru it. i looked back at his last 2 big fights , cotto and margarito:

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdkUgKZT0WQ[/ame]

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aH_RmFzqX38&feature=PlayList&p=EDF293A3C38D39DA&playnext_from=PL&index=0&playnext=1[/ame]

and it was a different man in there. maybe he got old, maybe floyd made him look old. whatever. but the shane in those two fights wasnt the shane that was in this fight:

i mean ****. even look at him against vernon- look at him shoot that jab out, how balanced and composed he is- even in a losing effort where he gets nailed.

my point is: that Roger and Snr dont get much credit in training floyd. people say that floyd trains himself. but they called it perfectly- that the jab would be **** of shane. and that he would be nervous and jittery. two great calls. i ve been applauding floyds performance also- but looking back at shanes last few round 1s. and shane sure didnt look sugar that nite. , whatever the reason.

He has always been Jittery its not some hidden secret that was recently discovered by the Mayweathers but when he was at his best he would jiggle a bit and follow it up with a combo now he just jiggles without throwing cause he cant pull the trigger anymore.

those videos clearly point out that shane was shot you stupid ****- are you dyslexic- my point is that roger called which strategy to use- and they did use it. you need to get your tongue out of pacs arse and stop hating and finding excuses for other peoples success. why come to this place if you cant discuss boxing in a mature way - ur a ****in annnoyance, nothing more , nothing less- you contribute nothing.

His lack of footwork left him exposed thru out the fight. The 8th round especially .

watch the videos. shane not what i would call jittery in the past couple of fights. hes moving a bit- and not quite settled- but his balance is there, he isnt flicnhing at everything- and hes composed and balanced. his legs arent jerking. i agree though, no trigger.

Those are just clips of some fights it doesnt show the entire fight like i said he has always jiggled a bit but not as much as he did against Floyd at spots he looked like a sick man trembling and jiggling all over the ring as if he had parkinson,it was a bit disturbing seeing him act that way.

Maybe it has something to do with Floyd defense and offense confusing him. How everyone becomes shot exactly when he fights Pac or Floyd?? Makes you wonder ?

Not everybody becomes shot, but if you think Shane is half the fighter he was in his prime you havent seen prime Mosley.

Of course people gonna say he's shot now. He just got in the ring w/ floyd. Lol. But the thing is he makes most opponents look like that. Trust me mosley is still a good fighter & i think he would still beat berto & most other welters. He just couldn't adjuat to what floyd does in the ring & he admitted that. I don't think shane is shot. He'd whoop margarito's ass again.

I agree. It seems every fighter Pac or Mayweather faces is shot. Before the fight, the fighter has a chance or he is tough or a threat. After the fight, the fighter is shot, or was damaged, or overrated. Shane was not in his prime, but he wasn't shot either. He was just confused. He realized he was in the ring with someone who was faster and simply better. Shane had no answer. Floyd was able to adjust, Shane couldn't. Floyd listened to his corner, Shane did not listen to his. I love Shane and can't stand Floyd, but reality is Shane got beat by the better boxer.

Stop making excuses for Shane. He made none, himself, so stop saying that he was a shot fighter the other night. He just got frustrated because Mayweather was so damn good and he got his ass whooped - plain and simple. "Can't pull the trigger anymore?" Bull****! He didn't throw because everytime he did he got countered with Mayweather's right... and they were big rights. And, the only reason Mayweather got caught in the second round is because he tried to fight Mosley instead of box him.

Shane seemed to be extra jittery during the fight due to the fact he has never faced a fighter with the hand speed of Mayweather. Shane defensively weaves punches more than he blocks them and much of his defense relies on reaction. He was hyper-reactive in this fight trying to anticipate the punches that were coming at him to weave and counter, and that's where it went terribly wrong for him.
