Whatever floats your boat I suppose...i'm a just walk to the ring and get on with it sort of bloke :thumbsup
In the run up to Mitchell/Katsidis, Mitchell made me cringe with his East end hardman routine. He did an interview with the sun and said ''We had life as hard as the Krays etc etc''. He did another one about having to go everywhere with a vicious dog for protection. Its cringeworthy to say the least. Is that his brother standing behind him? I can't believe how easily Katsidis dismantled him, that was the icing on the cringe cake.
Yeah, I think that's his brother, who also recently got knocked out. The way theyve even tried to dress like the Krays and made the pic black and white makes it even more cringeworthy.
Paying a host of ex champs to big you up on your ring walk is lame, whatever way you look at it. It was German kitsch at its worst.
Don't worry, it'll look much better when Matt Hatton does it, with Leonard, Hearns and all bigging him up on his way to the ring.
Haven't read the whole thread so am unsure if its already been posted, but that Lewis post fight interview (think it was after the Rahman rematch) where he kept saying 'Big up' all the ****ing time, cringworthy, and also the York Hall card where Jim Rosenthal referred to Tessa Sanderson as a 'Spearchucker'
I also find it cringworthy when a winner starts rabbiting into the camera as his gloves are being taken off
to add the cringe topping to the cringe icing on the cake, that xfactor essex ***** singing the national anthem on that main event was cringe central!!
that was messed up in so many ways..lmao. I recall when that was on, i snapped my neck back to the tv and was like "what did he say??" Then my elders had to spoil it for me about the term being frequently used back then.
