    Mijares.
IMO just way too quick & skilled at boxing from a distance.

Both fights at a distance. Power belongs to Nonito, Skills Mijares by a hair, Jab -Mijares, Left Hook -Nonito, Mijares has good defense but hittable, Nonito's like Floyd-he's hard to hit, Nonito's quicker. Mijares more experienced. I like both guys. If I have to Pick.. I take Nonito, the younger, quicker & more powerful.

I just watched the 1st rd of Mijares-Arce on my tV & Donaire-Darchinyan on my Laptop. Donaire looks like a Bigger & Quicker. Both have quick feet but donaire is the quicker again. Donaire is fighting a Lefty & he don't have problem.

If we switched partners, Donaire-Arce & Mijares-Darchinyan, I don't think Arce will last 3 rds, His arms are too short & just stand in front of you. I think Mijares has the Chance to school Dachinyan but & don't know if he can stay away from Vic's Bomb. If vic land a Good one, Mijares could be Koed.

So I stick with my Pick Donaire.

Skills by a hair to Mijares? Pacdbest, Mijares has so much better fundamentals, Nonito relies heavily on speed and good footwork and he has both, but he serious lacks Mijares' skill level.

Mijares' jab will be landing at will on Nonito.

This is a mismatch, literally, and Mijares would stop him after a brutal accumulative beatdown.

Nonito's not in the same stratosphere as Mijares. Nonito gets overrated because he didn't get scared off by Vic's power, and actually stayed in the pocket and boxed him. All he did was what fighters should have been able to do to him for a while now - avoid the punches that Vic telegraphed (which are most of his punches) and time him on his wild swings with straighter shots. That's what Vic gets for fighting blown up strawweights an B- level fighters for a couple years. His bad habits got worse, and it was only a matter of time before someone took advantage of them.

In any case, Christian doesn't have any of those issues. If he can fight his fight instead of being lured into a counterpunching match, he should be able to win pretty easily.

A counter punching match would benefit him also, as he's a tremendous counter puncher and actually times 3-4 shot combinations at openings, some openings that the inexperienced Donaire would definitely produce.

Who says Donaire has a proven jaw anyway? Mijares has a proven good jaw, I'd bet Mijares could hurt Donaire with some stiff work.

What I meant by that is if it becomes a slow-paced counterpunching match, then there's a lot more room for the judges to see things in favor of the guy who's perceived to have the harder punch.

Oh, well, Mijares rarely keeps a low workrate, jab is always pumping and his straight left is lightning in following it.

I don't even know if Donaire can handle someone taking him apart and attempt to adjust, or just fall apart totally. I wouldn't sleep on Maldonado this weekend either.

Mismatch??? I pick Mijares over Arce & Donaire over Darchinyan. Did you Predict that??? I Predicted both. Now I'm Predicting Donaire by KO around 9 rds. It takes me only one rd of each fighters fight to make the conclusion. Did you see Mijares face after the fight against Arce??? Arce's hitting him & Arce's arm's is like T-rex. Look at Donaire's face after Darchinyan fight??? Vic barely hit Nonito in the face. That jab will not hit Nonito much, He's very Quick on his feet & do not stand in front of you. Mijares defense is by Blocking & Moving his head but not his feet. Donaire's defense is by Moving both feet & Head, he don't even need to block. How do you think can Mijares hurt Nonito??? Nonito fight outside how can he reach him. Nonito has the longer Reach, The more powerful & quicker hands, taller, quicker & more mobile with his feet. I'll bet 2 weeks off bet with you when this fight happen.

I give you a better perspective. Mijares becomes a name after he schooled Arce. The same Arce who's ducking Darchinyan. The same Darchinyan that was Schooled & Knocked-out by Donaire. Now who is overrated????
