You can find other Mijares fights on the World Wide Web. A one-win wonder he is not. Arce isn't even the best fighter he's faced, just the most famous.

come think of it, it appears that nonito is more of a one-win wonder than mijares. anyway, nonito can prove himself as a legit champ this weekend against maldonaldo

That is what I was  about when PacD started talking to me....thus the point of my interaction in this thread.

But apparently Amsterdam makes these kinds of bets. Too rich for me....

I dunno his job....he might be able to afford it. Lots of people can, just not me. I was only laughing because I thought it was a crazy amount to ask someone on a forum to honor.

I'm far from rich, you see, I built my betting account up to 1,000's$ from placing in 100$ and then building it up each week with a variety of bets, tactically, some always lose of course, but I haven't had a 'losing week' since Freitas, meaning I'm always up by whatever amount small or large.

I currently have 3500$ in the acct and use it to make extra income off of, which is needed, as I am far from rich like I said, I pulled out 1000$ from it last week for bills/rent/food as an example.

1,000$ on Pavlik by KO won 1750$, I do free lance work, so added together it's a workable living, albeit still stretched due to the current economic situation, I live alone, no roommates.

I am a real gambler, so is Huki and Decebal, we all correspond together and weigh things out to make the best possible bets for wins and it's worked out very well, Huki being a student and Decebal being a working class certainly appreciate some extra income, as do I.

So this is a gambling account you have set up and spend out of. That makes sense. I don't know much about gambling or the lines.

Yes, it's what most online sports gamblers do, put in a reasonable amount and grow it.

It's worth doing KG if you have 50$ to spare and want to grow it to 500 in no time by taking very calculated 'risks', also known as 'dead certainties' as I call them, such as Guzman over Soto, which was a -140 day before the fight for Guzman. With -140, you win 40$ or so with 50, now you have 90, then the next event could possibly be Floyd Mayweather by stoppage at an insane +500, so you bet the 40 you made and now have 300$ in your account.

That's the basic idea behind 'money making' gambling and not gambling for the **** of it.

Boxing is one of the only sports you can do it with due to it's level of predictability, even being that anything can always happen, most fights, like Guzman-Soto if you've analysed both, are predictable.

Aside from Arce, who did Mijares beat? He drew with Maldonado, the same guy KOed by Darchi. If Darchi was feasting on B-level, then Mijares must be feasting on D- level. Mijares' resume is comprised of 23 fighters with a record of <2 wins, O loss, 0 defeats (basically recently turned professional) and lost 3 of them against such fighters. Arce who was fighting for a long time at 112 came up in weight to fight Mijares and he was never in danger of being KOed. Aside from being the smaller guy, There is nothing so special about Arce except that he fights like Gatti, all blood (literally because he gives so much blood in the ring) and guts. Even when Arce was fighting with a B- fighter, he stiil absorbs absurd amount of punches. In Arce's last fight against Rojas, he was actually losing lopsidedly similar to the Mijares fight when he KOed his opponent. Outboxing Arce is nothing special.
