    I always felt Mijares was extremy hyped here at ESB and I ended up drinking the kool-aid as well just before the Vic fight.

    I felt the Arce win was overrated because Mijares had a good size advantage, Arce was just moving up in weight and from the fight itself Arce was lunging in all night. I score Navarro-Mijares 116-112 for Mijares but he lost the 2nd half of that fight, and I scored Munoz-Mijares 115-113 for Mijares, close but clear win for Christian but he was getting tagged a lot and no one here would comment about it, just praise him as a messiah. Mijares is a good fighter but not a great one.

    No **** Amsterdam was way over the top with that God stuff. Mijares was really never that good to begin with IMO.:yep
