Very skillful, I think he edges Calderon now in this department.

Mijares hasn't reached his prime yet and Calderon's skills are fading. He doesn't just edge Calderon, he is much better than him right now in a P4P H2H sense. Mijares wouldn't drop as many rounds to a fighter like Juan Esquer as he did.

It sucks that Calderon is only starting to get some popularity now and he's probably going to get his first loss in the near future. He's at a weight division he doesn't belong in and he's clearly fading significantly after every fight.

All true. 33 years old for a fighter fighting in the lowest weight classes is ancient.

I'd take Ulises Solis and Cazares over him. He's getting older and has too much trouble with pressure fighters right now and close calls in his last 3 fights prove this. Can he make 105? If so, he should move back down.

You mean you'd take Cazares in a rematch?

    Yeah

I picked Calderon over him in their first fight. He could outbox him again, but I see Cazares' strength and pressure being a little too much right now.
