Main event is on now...not much happened first round. Mijares wins it but doesn't accomplish much.

Nothing at all. He looks out of place in there.

Rd. 4, Kikui tries to get active, but Mijares lands the jab at will and dominates another round.

Rd. 5...more spirited effort from Kikui but Mijares still takes the round. Kikui simply doesn't have anything on his punches.

Rd. 6...great round, Kikui starts throwing but opens himself up to some big bombs from Mijares. Mijares is more powerful and wins the round, but it's the most exciting round so far.

Rd. 7....not much going on in there. Closer round but I give it to Mijares.

Mijares all over Kikui in that round, had him in big trouble. Kikui survives but Mijares wins the round and with Kikui not a KO threat, this one is as good as done.

Rd. 9...Kikui again in trouble but hangs in there. Lands a few good shots of his own - but simply not enough power behind them to hurt Mijares.

Kikui was a typical Japanese fighter...they simply don't quit. He was way overmatched and took a real beating. Mijarves looked good but I'd like to see a rematch against Arce.
