Yeah...seems like the smart pick, but I won't underestimate Munoz in this one...still need to analyse it properly, though. What is your analysis?

    Because he's a crude pressure fighter stylist?:yep

Munoz has a nice 5% chance, that of a freak KO, only 5% because Cristian's chin is proven to be very solid and Munoz hasn't produced a KO at the top level yet.

I don't think it will be as onesided as you suspect, Amsterdam! Munoz will hit Mijares quite a bit! Mijares does get hit even by lesser punchers than Munoz. Sure, he has a very good chin and won't worry that much, but it will slow him down. I expect Mijares to counterpunch very well, though, and that will keep Munoz' respect. I cannot see a stoppage in this fight from either man, to be honest. I don't think Mijares will win by more than 4 rounds...

...still to analyse it properly, though...

Well, I think you're in for a serious surprise.

mijares by UD 116-112. Munoz might take some rounds with his pressure and aggressiveness.

I don't think he KOs mijares though, he's got good defense and is proven to be tough, but i wouldn't count munoz out. Why else would he take this fight if he has a very low chance of winning.

Several years back, Martin Castillo defeated Munoz wider than 8-4, I see no reason why a very superior specimen in Mijares, whom also punishes his victims more so will lose 4 rounds to Munoz cleanly.

Munoz is tailor made for him. Pressure fighter = Mijares styles advantage.

Navarro presented a bit of a stylistic issue to Mijares, but Mijares only dropped 3 rounds and brutalised a very game Navarro.

    I expect a clean shutout.

I'm on the safe bet here: Mijares outboxes Munoz to win by UD! But Munoz certainly became better. It's not an easy fight for either fighter.

    Mijarez by UD.

This win could put him in the top 10 p4p.

Mijares will box Munoz in a circle ... jabs, combinations to the body, one-twos upstairs, head-movement and counterpunching will win him this fight.

I rewatched Mijares v. Navarro and I thought it was a very, very good, close fight. I gave Navarro 2 clear rounds;I gave Mijares 3 clear rounds. The other rounds were very close and could have been scored either way, I thought. I would give most of them to Mijares, but they were close!! Will watch it again tomorrow to see how I score it then.

In any case, Navarro is a hell of a fighter! Perhaps he's better than Munoz!
