He calls Roy a glass jawed disgrace.

But in 1991, he fought at 154 pounds.

Yet he won't give him an ounce of credit for the Ruiz win.

That my friend, is a special kind of STUPID!

The network who at times crucified him, tried to make the DM fight.

They backed him when he said he'd offered Benn and Liles career high pay days.

He offered Hopkins $6m in 2002, but Hopkins wanted $10m.

    What more do you want?

It's only tedious, because everyone has an agenda and is purposely ignoring all of the links and videos etc.

Im not sweeping it under the rug. It is what it is. He never tested positive since. By I can understand the trepadition. Of course if you do this you ha e to do it with EVERY fighter. Truth is the majority of fighters whether they ever failed a test or not have probably juiced.

It is very likely Roy battered multiple other roiders from pillar to post for much of his career...

In a poetic justice sort of way, Tarver was probably roided to the gills when he knocked Jones out.

Happy New Year to you also.

Roy's father held him back. That's not an opinion, it's a fact.

Do you think it's a coincidence, that after they split, Roy signed with HBO, and got a crack at the vacant MW title, just 12 months later?

If you watch the documentary, Fred Levin states that he wanted to move Roy much quicker, but big Roy kept saying that he wasn't ready.

That's why he was never in the mix with all of the great MW's in the 90's.

    There are no excuses.

    It's all factual.

People question why he didn't fight Gerald, Nunn, McCallum, Jackson, and Reggie etc at MW, but if you look at his resume, it's clear why he didn't.

Just two years after he'd split from his father, he'd beaten Toney and was classed as one of the best fighters in the world.

I can just imagine Roy Jones deciding to pop in and look at a boxing forum, this guy who has fought the top fighters from around the world, won multiple titles, is someone who is thought of as one of the best to ever lace them up by almost every top fighter you ask.. made millions upon millions, been atop P4P lists, in general is considered a legend in a way, ect ect, and I picture him seeing a thread from some internet typer saying something as stupid and asinine as the title of this thread. This thread would look like **** to most real fighters, on any level of any combat sport... which suggests youve probably never achieved much in the sport you spend your time writing about on the internet and trying to downplay the career of one of the best boxers of the last 20 years. Which makes this thread that much ****tier.
