I trained at an amateur boxing gym in the UK for 5 years.

I’ve had 7 years off and getting back into it.

I seem to be able to remember more in terms of ring craft than I thought I would but I’m slower now.

Thinking of doing a white collar boxing show at some point later in the year or early next.

Wide open for the overhand right all night long.

Your stance reminds me a little of Pulev's

Aside from a general technique, I’m not sure immediately the best way of handling this southpaw.

Usually I try to circle to the left and glide in a straight right hand.

This didn’t seem to be working, partly because of my reach disadvantage.

Instead I was waiting for him to rush me and trying to loop an overhand right over the top of his straight left hand. I’d never actually tried this strategy against a southpaw before.

If I were fitter I reckon throwing more jabs would work better.

Do you really want to know? You arms are on the shorter side. You hands are not fast, and the defense needs work. But you are game with decent footwork.

You are not going out out jab people, move forward with your gloves up, learn how to cut off the ring, and mix it more often.
