Pride and K-1 are notorious for ****ing up their announced weights, and back when he fought Sapp, Hunt, and Bonjasky in K-1 Mirko looked like he was pushing into the upper 230's. Pardon the Larry Merchant talking about Wlad homoness, but he looked absolutely amazing back then, kind of like a blown up GSP.
Yeah, thats what he said in a recent interview, he says he has purposeley lost muscle in his legs and put them into his upper body so he won't get pushed around by the bigger UFC HW's. But who knows, if he used them I wouldn't be surprised, I bet many fighters who fought in Japan took advantage of the 0 drug testing policy. I mean, Barnett got caught using roids in the UFC, came over instantly to Japan, who's to say he wasn't using roids in Pride as well? The only guys I'm certain about being clean in Japan is Rampage and A. Silva, they're the only ones that havn't looked like complete and utter **** since coming to the drug-tested US.
