Fedor ducked a Cro Cop kick like it was nothing.

Man, I was rooting for Igor in that one. But he was past his sell-by date by then, so damn sad.

 

See, I think Fedor had success against Filipovic primarily because it was a MMA match and not a K1 match. Cro Cop was constantly looking out for the takedown and as a result restricted his usual arsenal of strikes. Fedor was able to go on the offensive because he knew Cro Cop wasn't going to the ground and he even feinted the takedown in order to set up strikes of his own. Fedor was such a complete fighter, damn.

 

Igor was Ukrainian, wasnt he?

 

I know, Fedor was something else. What a boy Cro Cop was too. Great great fighters from the past. Cro Cop still could compete not long back imo or show glimpses and enough to see that he was a beast in his day. Fedor though,jeez.....Hes not even showing a glimmer of what made him the no 1 Heavy in mma of all time in most peoples eyes for years now. Hope he don't fight again !

 

At this stage I think Cro Cop knocks out Fedor!

 

cro cop was an animal to be able to compete in the highest forms of kick boxing, highest of MMA, and sparring a top heavyweight pro boxer like that.

 

igor was a beast as well. In the town he grew up in they would have to ring the church bells when he got drunk because he would go out beating the **** out of everyone. He was only 5'8" yet fighting at light heavyweight and heavyweight. His arms and hands are huge though. He now runs a restaurant lol

 

At this stage majority knock out Fedor I think. Dan Henderson was enough for me. I know he can bang, but he was a little fella. His resistance is gone completely. Even Bigfoot was the writing on the wall before that !

He outstruck strikers and outgrappled grapplers. He was utterly fearless.
