excellent interview some things he mentioned and what i thought. - he plans to mainly use his boxing, because he believes that in the past he neglected his punches and kicked too much. he will kick mainly to finish his opponent. this might be a good or bad thingas there are other good punchers/boxers. however mirko's boxing is good, and he's got an idea of a thing called defense. -he talks about being self taught, a man who trained with not the best sparring partners of, and never really had any big time gym/coaches in his area. i personally agree and disagree with this. he cant be totally self taught, he cant have learned that killer left kick which is picture perfect from a textbook point of view on his own. i guess the guys who trained him showed him the 'how' the 'what' but didnt show him the 'when' of them techniques, i guess he had to figure out that bit himself. i hope you guys understand. -He says that a fighter with his experience needs to be mentally prepared. he says his mentality is more important at this stage of his career. he says technically know one can teach him anything more about a jab, uppercut or a high kick (or any other technique). he believes the loses in the ufc were cos of his mental state. i totally agree. I hope he cleans up again and fights Fedor for a mega fight. people may be scratching:huh their head when i said mega fight and wondering why? mirko gave fedor a tough fight last time, busted his face up, even though imo fedor still beat him clearly. the last time fedor went the distance was when he fought crocop. i think that shows how good crocop is. dont write off a fighter, only he knows how good/ready he is. remember what happened when mosley fought margarito or when hopkins fought pavlik?

hmm that's intereting but i think crocop will have a hard time cutting weight. He is in his 30's already. I would love to see crocop fight couture. That was the fight that was supposed to happen but he got KO by gonzaga.
