So obviously, we know Crocop simply couldn't cut it in the UFC and has gone to Japan where the compeititon is a little easier, he's fighting March 15th, opponent not named.

Here let me rephrase this for you.

"So obviously we know Rizzo simply counldn't cut it in Pride fc and has gone to America where the competition is a little easier."

""So obviously we know Anderson simply counldn't cut it in Pride fc and has gone to America where the competition is a little easier."

    It's Mirko's problem , not japan's or america's competition.

Well its good to see his back. I guess alot of the PRIDE fighters loved the Japanese atmosphere fans and nostalgia rather than the boot leg pub garden of the UFC.

    Weak.

But it may be good, let him build some confidence and then maybe come back stronger, not likely though.

He'll never be back in the UFC. They paid him astronomical money in hopes that he would carry that division. Instead he fell flat on his face and got made into a ***** by people he should have dominated.

Yeah, looks like the UFC wasted a lot of money on him. He signed a 6 fight contract so it doesn't appear that the UFC mind seeing him go, I wouldn't be suprised if they cut him.

Well... looks like after he fights in a "No drug tests" event, people will be saying "Cro-Cop IS BACK!"

Well thats good to hear. A few years ago Peter Aerts said that Mirko has the body of a champion and the mind of an amateur. When things go his way he is unstoppable, under pressure he crumbles. Hopefully he gets things going his way again and can make for a few exciting fights before he is done. I want to see the cocky ******* smug Mirko of old, not this "blah blah respect" and lose Mirko.

I think WM is implying that Crocop was/is and will be on drugs. That Crocop will look far better at the 'no drug tests' Japanese promotion and then everyone will proclaim "Crocop is better again".

Isn't it a mystery how with the expection of a few... those Pride beasts never "look the same" outside of Japan? Even guys as young as Shogun are proclaimed "washed up".
