Looks like this is back on the agenda today, despite various denials Croke Park's own staff say they're looking at Fury-Joshua later in the year. It's interesting though that Katie Taylor can only seemingly fit at the park (her "home ground", sort of) as the chief support on this bill - Hearn said a few times it would cost far too much to stage a fight for her there, just shows how valuable women's fights actually are? Although going on ticket sales for Fury this weekend maybe they need Taylor to make sure it's full
I don't have a clue what this stadium even is. I just hear it pop up every few months with Katie Taylor.
Fook knows how when its just her & some other bird flailing away for 2x 10s. Irish boxing truly is in the gutter
I live in Ireland unless the tickets are ridiculously cheap which it wouldn't be it would nowhere near sell out.
Croke Park is massive holds 82k. If you put Katie Taylor on as chief support to say Fury v AJ no doubt it sells out. We have All Ireland Hurling/football semi finals at Croke Park that depending on the counties involved do not sell out. People even travelling from say the South East to Dublin it's a very expensive day out. If Eddie Hearn KNEW for a fact KT could sell out Croke Park does anyone really think he wouldn't of put on a show there?
Lot smaller 50 odd thousand. I have been to Croke Park one stand is huge, thought it was a decent stadium to be fair, only went once that was 20 years ago though.
