Awesome return fight last night from Mikey Garcia. But where does that leave our boys if mikey stays at 135lb. Crolla has to come through linares which i doubt hell do but if he did, how would you rate his chances vs Garcia? Terry turbo has petrov next whos decent but i do expect him to come through it. I would give terry a better chance than crolla but still...im not sure hed beat Garcia. Garcia for me, with that job he did on zlat last night is just the force he was before his lay off. Whats others thoughts on million$ and turbo terrys chances against Mikey Garcia.
Neither have a hope of competing with Garcia he is levels above, I say this as a fan of both Brits. Garcia is special
Crawford is the fight to make. I'd also like to see him in with Linares if he stays at 135 but I think his future lay north of LW.
I do agree..hes a special talent and last nights performance has shown us that the time out hes had has had no detrimental effect on his performance. Out of our two boys, id give terry turbo the best chance tho, altho i would put that chance at slim, at the best.
Flanagan and Crolla are decent top level boxers but truth is that even if they hold versions of WT they will never be the best fighters at their weight on the planet. Good promotions and matches have got them to where they are now but come into the elite bracket and both will be stopped. Just my opinion nothing against either of them.
If Crolla wins against Linares Gallagher will ensure that he doesnt fight Garcia What exactly does he have to trouble Mikey. Mikey would do unspeakable things to him if they fought
Garcia is a very special fighter. I'm a patriotic Brit, but both our boys would be starched by Mikey. Last nights fight started off pretty evenly, and by the start of the 3rd round Zlaticanin was starting to catch Garcia with the overhand left. All that seemed to do was wake Garcia up, and the rest is history. The uppercut that started the KO was brutal. When you consider he's only fought 3 times in over 3 years, the prospect of a non rusty version of Garcia would be even scarier.
