A fight no one really asked for to be honest but it is what it is, worst fights out there I suppose.

Burns looks absolutely finished to me, anyone picking him here?

Burns for me. Crolla is grossly overrated.

Bold, I don't think Burns has looked decent in a very long time

Good fight for where both guys are at I guess, I favour Crolla to grind out a points win.

Ultimately, this is just a fight which makes all involved a bit of money but doesn't mean that much in boxing terms. It might be semi-entertaining to watch. I'd pick Crolla narrowly based on work rate.

Good fight but clearly Burns vs Taylor is bigger for Scotland.

One fan on Twitter commented that 'Gatti-Ward springs to mind'

It's just not a fight that excites me really. I'd much rather see Crolla vs Flanagan and Burns vs Taylor. However, regarding this fight, I've never been high on Crolla but I think Burns is cooked, so even moving up in weight I think Crolla wins a UD. Crolla sets a good tempo and maintains it throughout the 12 rounds, I can't see Burns keeping up with him.

Both fighters will be reluctant to trade so a Ward-Gatti style slugfest will not happen. I think this will be a step forward jab step back kind of fight. Neither will sit in the pocket too long. It's a 50/50. They've achieved massively but both have way too much mileage on the clock so it's a case of who has the most left imo.

I respect both fighters and I hope they make a load of money from it.
