Styles make fights. Rees fought at higher level than Crolla. Rees would give him nightmares. I like they way how Crolla is now all of a sudden unbeatable. Hilarious.
Yeh Rees DID fight at a higher level, past tense! A prime Rees would give Crolla nightmares, maybe. However we are talking about a 31/32 year old who struggles with fitness towards the middle rounds up against some1 who will relentlessly come forward, good with body shots to make things worse, fit as a fiddle, and alot more hungry. got a great chin so far too, touch wood ha
Even putting Rees aside for a second, the fact that Team Crolla decided to move up a weight to fight for a title against somebody coming off a KO loss then start rejecting opponents 'cus they are too big' thoroughly pissed me off. I like Crolla as a fighter, he's a talented kid, but if fighters at 135 are too big, vacate and move back to 130. Don't hold the belt ransom and fight whoever the **** aint 'too big'.
We will see. I see your points but I just dont rate Crolla tbh. I think a off peak Rees still beats him.
Agree with Grant - the "too big" excuse is a joke regardless of who came up with it. Crolla-Rees would be a quality fight, I just feel that Rees would have to take the majority of the earlier rounds as Crolla is busy and would pull away down the stretch. If Rees can sort his stamina issues out then I'd fancy him to win this. I'll assume that Team Crolla don't want any of Rees until I hear otherwise from the horses mouth.
**** doesn't work like that though does it?...take the monster that is Al Hamidi...Watson shut him out and Crolla got beat in their first fight. Trying to extrapolate off the back of common opponent comparison has "fail" written all over it.
Who do you reckon is next for Crolla, Macky? Do you genuinely think it will be Rees, or maybe Limmond?
I'm not too sure mate, he mentioned he reckons he will defend the British in October, but i know he wants Rees, got **** loads of respect for Rees and he would be honoured to fight him he said. But is very confident of beating him.
