Stoppage was probably coming to be fair.

 

Dreadful stoppage. About 3 seconds left in the round...just awful. **** off John Keane.

 

DeGale switch hitting a lot in the first. Looking sharper but this is the perfect style opponent for him.

 

How can you stop that? Horrible stoppage, Crolla was hurt but he wasn't out on his feet or taking a one sided beating. Robbed of a classic, a champion robbed of his title. Delighted for Derry but John Keane needs to go the way of Old Yeller for that.

 

Good stoppage. Crolla was taking an absolute plastering, he's only young and his defense and cuts weren't getting better. That was a bit of a beating.

 

Feel bad for Crolla, Ref needs sacking.

 

Someone couldn't take Derry Mathews' best shots, round after round.

Crolla had just hurt Derry to the body before he got stunned and prematurely stopped. Was still completely 50/50 in my eyes.

 

not only that he was beating up matthews for 2 and a half minutes.
